I only sell 3 kinds of Linksys voip adapters and they all are unlocked: Unlocked PAP2 is $75, PAP2 + Router with QoS is $100, and PAP2 + Wireless-G Router with QoS is $150.

1. You don't have a router: If you don't have a router, without any doubts, you should buy either a PAP2 + Router with QoS or a PAP2 + Wireless-G Router with QoS adapter. Which one is better? They both are the same. The only one difference between them is whether providing wireless connection or not and nothing more. Therefore, if you need wireless signals in your envirement, you should buy a PAP2 + Wireless-G Router with QoS adapter. If you don't use wireless connection at all, you should buy a PAP2 + Router with QoS adapter.

2. You do have a router: If you have a router, you can buy either an Unlocked PAP2, a PAP2 + Router with QoS or a PAP2 + Wireless-G Router with QoS adapter. I suggest you to buy a PAP2 + Router with QoS adapter, because it has QoS feature, which makes voice quality better.

On the other hand, because you have your own router, you can buy just an Unlocked PAP2.

What I recommend? I think you should just buy a PAP2 + Router with QoS adapter. You want to buy a PAP2 device anyway? Then I recommend you an Unlocked PAP2 adapter. Why not a PAP2-SPA model? That's because when you use line 2, if some one calls you on line 1, you have to finish your conversation on line 2 in order to answer line 1. However, if you have an Unlocked PAP2 adapter, then you will use 2 phones, which will allow you to use both lines at the same time.
